The Welsh Pharmacy Trade Show 2025, held on Sunday 18th May at the Vale Resort, Hensol, brought together pharmacy professionals, suppliers, and industry leaders for a day of insight, collaboration, and innovation.
The event attracted a great turnout from across Wales and the UK, with attendees engaging in education sessions, product demonstrations, and networking with a wide array of exhibitors from across the world of Pharmacy.
Key Highlights:
- Inspiring Leadership from Numark: Harry McQuillan, Chairman of Numark, delivered a standout presentation, reflecting on the growing strength of the independent sector. He championed the importance of resilience, collaboration, and the role Numark continues to play in supporting contractors with tools, commercial backing, and professional development opportunities.
- Workforce & Service Development: Mathew Peters (NPA) delivered a practical session focused on helping pharmacy teams develop and introduce new services in 2025 to grow their income and expand their clinical offering.
- Independent Prescribing & Career Development: Hollie Ryder (NPA) shared valuable insights into the progression of independent prescribing and its potential impact across the sector.
- Community Pharmacy Updates: Community Pharmacy Wales provided attendees with the latest service updates and strategic insights for the Welsh pharmacy network.
